For most the Woodcock hold an air of mystery and reverence not afforded to the other British game birds, and rightly so. No other species raises the pulse quite like it and any sporting man or woman will burst with pride at shooting this fast and silent quarry which rarely presents a straight forward shot.

Migratory Woodcock numbers have risen significantly in recent years to the point that it is now possible to shoot modest bags without damage to resident stocks, providing a fresh challenge to even the most experienced shot. For the past two seasons we have been providing quality driven Woodcock days within the British Isles.

Woodcock shooting is a truly wild sport and bag numbers cannot be guaranteed however we regularly see fifty plus lifts during a day and bags of thirty or forty are not unheard of. We can provide a range of days across the country during the prime season for woodcock, that being December and January.
