With days available from fifty birds upwards there is something for all in our offerings.

We are particularly excited about the inclusion of some brand new locations this year. One of which is Burnworthy Manor in the Blackdown hills, Somerset. Managed by Paul Barnett this estate has been returned to its former status as a truly beautiful west country shoot. There are still dates available for days of 125 to 300 birds, with some of the early days being offered at discount so get in touch and grab a real bargain!

Our individual pegs have sold like hot cakes following their introduction two seasons ago and we now only have a few remaining near Andover at the Finkley shoot. Please get in touch to check the current availability at this estate.

This summer we have been busier than ever with our Clay pigeon shooting both at our shooting school and on location. Last week we were asked to provide a short notice event at Lainston House for Panache lingerie. The group were taking time out from their conference schedule to have a couple of hour’s fun in the grounds of the hotel.

We set up a layout of three training targets with the shooting itself taking place from our mobile safety cages. The whole group were soon breaking clays with a healthy amount of competition between the gentlemen!

We were very lucky with the weather which had been poor up to that point and we all agreed that the afternoon was thoughroughly enjoyable. Our team is always happy to arrange these events at locations such as Lainston; the facilities are fantastic with plenty of space for us to use to create a fun and testing event.

If you`re looking for a fine country house hotel we recommend Lainston house with it`s beautiful rooms and award winning dining.

For more information go to our Lainston House Hotel page.

The chalk streams of southern England are revered the world over for their crystal clear waters and unsurpassed sport. Many of our clients have expressed a long term desire to fish these stunning waters but have believed them too expensive. We have sourced some of the finest stretches of water and are able to take our clients fishing for far less than expected. As the waters warm and the fly hatch begins there is no better way to spend a day or just a few hours than treading the banks of a truly beautiful stream.

We are privileged to have access to the truly stunning rivers Test, Itchen and Avon. All our waters boast well equipped fishing lodges to cater for groups of any size with bank side hospitality and equipment as required. Our guides will be on hand to assist you with everything from fly selection to the successful landing of your fish.

This season we are able to offer late season availability on the Little Test at Nursling which forms the lower borders of the famous Broadlands stretch. This water has never before been available to anyone other than syndicate rods and has remained unspoilt for decades. With separate trout and Salmon beats offering a variety of fishing throughout the season there is ample bank space for groups of six rods per day. The fabulous lodge with full catering facilities and beautiful location provide our clients with all that could required for the perfect day at seriously discounted rates.

We also offer fishing for Carp and Pike on the fly. This relatively new form of angling has opened the eyes of many to the sporting capabilities of both these often maligned species. Even on stout tackle you can expect a firm fight and will often see your backing stripped in a high adrenalin run.

Our guided sessions start from as little as £95 so indulge your dream and fish these famous rivers in style with us.

The month of February affords our team a welcome break from the high pressure of the game shooting season and allows us to catch up on our deer stalking in the South. At this time of the year we are shooting Roe does to improve the gene pool and to limit the agricultural damage that over-population can result in.

Mr Jon Carter from Salisbury in Wiltshire contacted us for a day’s stalking whilst he was on leave from his work in Morocco and we were able to book a day to suit his tight schedule. After meeting bright and early and enjoying a brief chat we set off to the stalking ground allocated for that day. On arrival there were a parcel of five Roe deer grazing steadily across a large field of oil seed rape and we noted to check these over later in the morning for any older does suitable for culling.

Quietly making our way around the ground we saw plenty of deer but passed on in search of one particular doe that had been observed earlier in the week at the south east side of the farm. Sure enough she was out grazing and we began a difficult stalk of around eight hundred yards to get around the wind and into position. The final approach was at a crawl and when within shooting distance I instructed Jon on where I wanted his shot placed which he did a perfectly and deer number one was loaded into the vehicle destined for the game larder.

After lunch at a local Inn we headed back to the same venue for the afternoon stalk. This time we decided to get a better look at the first group of deer we had observed that morning. Our first attempt to stalk along a farm track failed to go unnoticed and the deer moved slowly off to graze in a fold of ground on the far side of the field at about 300 yards distance. Looking at the topography of the surrounding fields it was clear that we would be able to approach this group and view them from the crest of a hill well within range for the shot. After another crawl into position over the young rape plants we were able to view our quarry clearly although they had by this time lain down to ruminate. The wait for the deer to rise again seemed like hours but as they did Jon made another fine shot killing the selected doe instantly.

Jon departed happy, with the venison from one of his beasts, a muddy handshake and photographs of a memorable day out in the Wiltshire countryside.

Our team can accompany both novice and experienced stalkers across Great Britain, guiding you through the efficient and ethical cull of your beast. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your next sporting experience.
